Sauteed Mushrooms

Basic recipe for sautéed mushrooms that have been drained before cooking for better texture and flavor. A great side dish where butter, salt, and pepper are sufficient for seasoning. Feel free to experiment with other spices as well, such as thyme or a splash of sherry or brandy to enhance the flavor even more.
