Creamy potato and leek soup.

Potatoes and leeks pair wonderfully in a soup, and here they are accompanied by whipped cream, which gives the soup a truly velvety texture. The soup can be served as a starter, in which case a half portion is sufficient. A variation of this soup is Vichyssoise, which requires only the white part of the leek, so you will need an additional 1-2 leeks.
